James Kent, Old Foley china, Strawberry and Butterfly pattern is Staffordshire and made in England. The china has a fluted rim with strawberries and leaves in an all over pattern on the china. Queens/Rosina Virginia Strawberry

Like so many strawberry china patterns, Virginia Strawberry has fluted edges and a gold rim. This pattern is more contemporary in look with a large cluster of plump berries, delicate flowers and large green leaves. A spray of leaves and smaller berries is scattered over the opposite rim. Yellow butterflies finish the motif. It was manufactured from 1948 through 1952.Besides the fluted design with gold rim Virginia Strawberry comes in:

Johnson Brothers Strawberry Fair

Johnson Brothers also manufactured a pattern called Strawberry Fair. It is a red transferware pattern with the bulk of the motif arranged in a wide band around the edge. The rim on the plates is scalloped.Many of the bowls and cups have a small, matching motif inside. The bowl rims are decorated with a rope design, strawberries and daisies. This is one of the more unique of the strawberry china patterns. It was manufactured from 1959 to 1973.

Johnson Brothers also manufactured a version of this pattern in blue transferware and called it Strawberry Fayre.

The Victoria Strawberry pattern was named for Queen Victoria. It has been in production continuously since the 1850s. The hand painted version was owned by Queen Victoria and is still in use by the Royal Family.

Homer Laughlin Brittany Strawberry

The Homer Laughlin Brittany Strawberry pattern was produced from 1939 to 1950. It is a smooth design with bright contemporary strawberries and leaves on a white background. The pattern covers the wide rims of the plates and other dishes, keeping the center free of design.
